The purpose of the Lab is to provide reading assessment and instruction to local area students in grades K-12, while providing Jacksonville University pre-service teachers opportunities to develop teaching skills in reading and writing and earn partial fulfillment of requirements for the Florida K-12 Reading Endorsement (July, 2002 Source).
